When I zoom in to the world, everything gets blurry. What is wrong?
Well, it depends on where you are zooming in! Different areas have different levels of detail available. Very high resolution imagery, the kind where you can see cars easily, is mostly only available for certain urban areas in the United States, so zooming down that far over Greenland will just get blurry.
However, Landsat imagery is available world wide. It’s lower resolution than the USGS imagery available for most of the US, but you should still be able to see roads, cities, and geographical features with ease. Callousness
If you aren’t able to zoom in much at all, you should make sure your computer is connected to the internet. Because the global imagery is many hundreds of gigabytes, InteleView only downloads what it needs as you look at it, so an active internet connection is required. If you have a firewall that manages which programs can connect to the internet, make sure InteleView has permission.
Finally, if you have a slower internet connection, check the bottom left hand corner of the InteleView window. If you see a progress bar there, higher resolution imagery is downloading and will appear on the screen as soon as it is done.
