DHS/USAF leverage Intelesense Sensor Integration Platform

10-01-10 -- SAN JOSE -- Intelesense Technologies, in collaboration with the Center for Island, Maritime and Extreme Environment Security (CIMES, Univ of Hawaii) and the Center for Border Security and Immigration (BORDERS, Univ of Arizona), announced a new project for the development of an advanced sensor platform that integrates medical, environmental, and other sensor data for force health protection and maritime and border security applications. Particular areas of emphasis are the development of personnel, vehicle/aircraft (including UAV), and autonomous devices as sensing platforms.

Funding for the project was provided by the United States Air Force (USAF, AFMSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS, Science and Technology).
