New DHS Center of Excellence leverages Intelesense

Intelesense today announced a contract with the University of Hawaii Center for Island, Maritime, and Extreme Environment Security (CIMES) .

This new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Center of Excellence will perform basic research in areas that will improve safeguards for key infrastructures in island and extreme environments as well as provide important environmental information in times of natural or man-made emergencies. Intelesense will provide the core data integration, fusion, and visualization capabilities of the Center and collaborate with their many academic, government, and industry partners. Data from satellite imagery, acoustic and RADAR-based sensor arrays, and other sensors and data sources will be integrated, analyzed, and visualized through the Intelesense system.
